The ultralight and incredibly versatile Peak Design Packable Tote is a zip-closing bag with several key improvements over other totes: a zip closure, a single shoulder strap with microfibre padding, self-healing nylon fabric, and construction from a single piece of fabric, which minimises seams and stress points. And it packs down to barely larger than a deck of cards.

The zip closure prevents spills and keeps out sand and dirt, which greatly increases the Packable Tote's versatility. The durable #5 UltraZip will last decades of use thanks to its patented abrasion-resistant fibre. The beautiful 100% recycled ripstop 70D nylon/poly fabric is self-healing – it has a special finish that actively closes up minor scratches.

It's also water-resistant. The shoulder strap is made of high-strength nylon webbing with a soft sewn-in microfibre pad. Unlike two-handle totes, the single strap makes the Packable Tote easier to grab, carry and store. It weighs just 80 g and packs down to fit into any pocket or bag. The integrated stuff pocket doubles as an internal pocket when the bag is in use. The Packable Tote is Fair Trade certified.
